Biography

Born in 1937, Dennis “Debo” Clark studied at the University of Illinois and is known for his portraits and still life paintings.

His work is in private and public collections, including the Museum of Sonoma County, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, including multiple Northern California’s wine makers collections. His work has a style of Rembrandt-like realism, self-taught and hauntingly, creating a portrait of lasting beauty. His references and his reputation are of the highest quality.
